Hudson Area Schools will be using a new school-to-parent communication service called AlertNow. With AlertNow, we will be able to deliver important information to you quickly and reliably. You will be receiving these messages periodically to notify you about important events, such as parent-teacher conferences, Parent Group and Booster meetings, back-to-school nights, fundraisers, and report card reminders. With this service we will also be able to reach you promptly in the event of an urgent matter, school closing or delay. Please make sure that if your phone number or email address changes during the school year that you notify your child's school immediately. What you need to know about receiving calls sent through ALERTNOW • Caller ID will display the school’s main number when general announcement is delivered. • Caller ID will display 411 if the message is a dire emergency. • ALERTNOW will leave a message on any answering machine or voicemail. • If the ALERTNOW message stops playing, press 1 and the message will replay from the beginning. I want you to know that it is an honor and a privilege to serve as your child’s Superintendent and to be entrusted with your child’s safety and education. There are many exciting initiatives underway here at Hudson Area Schools and I look forward to keeping you involved through the AlertNow communication service. Sincerely, Mike Osborne, Superintendent Hudson Area Schools |
