Monday, March 30th

Congratulations to the entire cast and crew of The Wizard of Oz on a very successful weekend of performances.  Please have your script books in to Mr. Carpenter or Mrs. Schoonover by Wednesday at noon. 
 
Softball practice will be from 5:30-7:30 today. We will most likely be outside.  
 
Key Club is sponsoring a Prom/Homecoming dress sale today from 4-8pm in the high school cafeteria. $5.00 of all sales will go to community projects. If you are interested in selling you’re your dress please contact Takota Voelzke.
 
All Spanish Club members please meet in the media center after the bell rings for first hour for a yearbook picture.
 
Seniors need to report to the MS Gym at the beginning of lunch for a group picture.

Tuesday, March 31st

 
The Robert B. Westfall Foundation is sponsoring a scholarship worth $10,000 for 1-3 graduating seniors from Hudson.  Criteria for the scholarship is in Mrs. Cheney’s office, however, you must have at least a 2.5 GPA and accepted to an accredited 4 year college/university.  Please see Mrs. Cheney for more details.  Deadline is April 14th.
 
Elwood Staffing, located at the CSI building, is offering summer employment for seniors and full-time opportunities for those students who may be interested in going directly into the work force.  Information is available in the counseling office on contacting a representative from Ellwood Staffing and filling out an application. 
 
Just a reminder that Jackson College Foundation Scholarships are due Wednesday, April 1st.  Jackson College is also hosting a “Taste of College Open House” on Friday, April 10th during spring break.  During this open house, you can get started with an admissions and financial aid overview, attend a psychology class session or a science demonstration and register to win a three-credit tuition voucher! A flyer is posted on the bulletin board outside of the cafeteria as well as in the counseling office on how to RSVP.

Attention all girls who will be in high school next year:  If you are interested in playing volleyball next fall, please sign up on the sign-up sheet next to the office.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Beal.
 
Seniors, all fees, fines, and class dues must be paid before prom and picking up your graduation cap and gown.  Do yourself a favor and pay them now.  Check with Thomas Atkin for your total. 
 
Remember to get your tickets to the Heights of Mt. Olympus, this year’s prom.  Tickets will be on sale at lunch today and tomorrow at the reduced rate of $40.  After spring break the ticket cost will be $45.00 per person.  Remember that dues must be paid before buying tickets.
 
There will be a senior class officer meeting at lunch today in Mrs. Schoonover’s room.
 
There will be a junior class officer meeting at lunch tomorrow in Mrs. Schoonover’s room.
 
The Spanish Club will be selling frozen juice bars and frozen chocolate bars during middle school and high school lunches today and tomorrow.
