Congratulations and thank you to the student section on Friday night at Hillsdale and to those students who supported the cross country teams on Saturday.  Your enthusiasm and positive encouragement served as excellent examples of proper sportsmanship.  Thank you for being a great reflection of our school and community!

Thank you to those students who rode the fan bus on Friday.  We heard great reports from Mrs. Williams and Mrs. Bailey.  Both reported that the bus was clean and that students were a pleasure to be around.  On Saturday morning at the volleyball tourney Mrs. Williams was still bragging about how much fun she had driving the fan bus!  Thank you to Destini Marry for organizing the bus and to those students who made sure that the trip was a success.  Great job by all!

The boys cross country team walked away with the regional title, beating out second place Hillsdale Academy by 18 points.  Drew Cregar finished 3rd, beating 4th place Daniel Holder by a few inches in a spectacular Battle to the finish line.  Ben Sunderman finished 7th, running his fastest time ever, and Taylor Sunderman was 9th.  All four of them were individual medalists.  Thomas Atkin finished 28th, Brady Perry was 30th, and Ethan Sword came across the line in 45th out of 75 total finishers.  In the open race Jacob Morgan was 16th, Josh Heistan was 22nd, running his fastest time ever, and Corbin Clark was 33rd.  On Saturday the boys will compete in the state championships at Michigan International Speedway.
