There are still a few copies of the 2013-2014 yearbooks available for purchase, you can stop in the office to get one. Cost is 45.00.

The Jungle is sponsoring a mini-float building competition.  Each grade is expected to build a float and you will receive points towards Spirit War based on final judging.  Mini-floats should be built on a toy wagon base. Each grade should put together a team who will plan and build the floats.  On Thursday Oct 2nd you will have 20 minutes during lunch to do your final build, this means that all of your prep and planning should be done ahead of time.  Teams must supply their own wagon, decorations and building supplies.  The floats should be designed around our homecoming theme – Pop Culture.   Once you have a team put together for your grade you can see Mrs. Cunningham or Ms. Howard for a set of official rules.

The athletic boosters are sponsoring a fund raiser during Homecoming week. Several staff members have “volunteered” to be willing to kiss a pig during Friday’s pep assembly. In order to get them to kiss a pig, you need to vote for them by putting money in their jar. Their jars will be in their room, except Mr. Horwath and Mr. Beal theirs will be at the office. Any teacher who raises over $40, or the top female and top male staff member will kiss a pig. The staff member who gets the most money will kiss a surprise animal. Come next week with money to vote!!
