In the fall semester, students in Miss Luma’s class entered a writing contest called "Fright Club.” Excitingly, many of the entries for the class have been selected to potentially be published. This group of young ladies had the opportunity to attend the MHSAA Women In Sports Leadership Conference with Mrs. Godfrey and Mrs. Borck earlier this week. This conference provided them with opportunities to meet, interact and learn from empowering women in a variety of sports. They attended multiple sessions during this two-day conference about mental training, leadership, grit & goal setting, nutrition, and so much more. ❤️ Middle School Valentine’s Dance ❤️ We’re excited to host our Middle School Valentine’s Dance! Students are invited to enjoy an evening of music, dancing, and fun with friends. 💕

Ms. Patrick’s 5th grade Science classes are excited to be finishing their unit on the growth of plants! During this unit, students explored the parts of a plant, learned how to grow a soybean, and discovered all the stages involved in plant development. To wrap it up, students created their own plant models and proudly identified each part, showing everything they have learned along the way. 🌱✨ #IAmATiger

At a special school board meeting yesterday the Hudson Area Schools Board of Education announced the beginning of its search for the next Superintendent of our district. Dr. Michael Osborne has announced his plan to retire at the conclusion of the 2026-2027 school year and the Board has begun a transition plan that will culminate in the selection of his successor. Today 5th grade students celebrated the 252nd anniversary of the Boston Tea Party (and Mrs. Butler's birthday) with a tea party of our own. Students have been studying the events of the American Revolution, including the Boston Tea Party. Today they learned where tea comes from, how it is made, and had a chance to taste tea! We love bringing our learning to life! #IAmATiger

Welcome, Mr. Todd Stern! Mr. Stern is our newest School Resource Officer. His main location is at our CSI Building. School Resource Officers are a visible presence during arrival, dismissal, and indoor/outdoor activities, helping create a safe and supportive environment for students. Mr. Todd Stern retired from the Michigan Department of Corrections after more than 25 years of dedicated service. A 1986 graduate of Michigan State University and former MSU wrestler, he has spent the past 32 years coaching wrestling at Leslie High School. Todd is married to Wendy Warner.
